Old Coastguard Cottage is a  beautiful cottage with views of the Menai Straits, the Tryn Du lighthouse, Puffin Island and the Snowdonia mountain range. The cottage has recently been refurbished to a very high standard with an emphasis on providing comfort and luxury. The cottage sleeps 7 people in a kingsize bed, twin beds, bunk beds and a single bed. There is an under bed trundle bed in the annexe but we do not include this in the numbers we will allow..

There are two bathrooms, one is upstairs and one is downstairs (walk in shower) next to the downstairs bedroom making it ideal for people with mobility problems. The downstairs bedroom is self contained as it has a Smart TV, sitting area and large patio doors onto the garden. There is a cosy living room with a log burner, Smart TV, leather sofas and comfortable armchairs. The kitchen is well equipped and can seat 8 around a large farmhouse table. There are 2 ovens (one with a grill over), microwave, washer, dishwasher, induction hob, coffee machine and everything you could possibly need.

Upstairs there is a kingsize bed in the master suite which has dual aspect looking onto the Menai Straits and the lighthouse. This room has bedside cabinets and a chest of drawers, there is no wardrobe in here. There is a twin room which looks onto the lighthouse and Puffin Island and has a chest of drawers, bedside cabinets and a walk in wardrobe. The bunk room is decorated in a sailing ship theme and has bunk beds, a bedside cabinet and a wardrobe with drawers and shelves. On the landing is a quiet reading area with an armchair. We provide games, books and some toys for little ones. We also have a highchair, baby bath and travel cot.

We are dog friendly and provide bowls, a bed and we have a temperature controlled outside dog shower for your furry friends! 

On your arrival there will be a welcome pack with local items in, all beds will be made up and  there will be towels, dish cloths, washing pods, dishwasher pods.....in fact everything to ensure you have a lovely stay.
